Puly Descaler Espresso® – Liquid Descaling Solution for Espresso Machines

Puly Descaler Espresso® is a liquid descaling solution designed to clean boilers, heat exchangers, heating elements, kettles, filter coffee machines and all coffee extraction machines. Even a thin layer of limescale of just 0.3 millimeters has an insulating effect, lowering the temperature by approximately 5 degrees. This forces the machine to work harder to reach the desired heat, often resulting in under-extracted coffee in the cup.

Puly Descaler Espresso® complies with HACCP regulations. It works even in cold water and also works optimally on parts that are not subject to heating, such as trays and tanks of domestic and professional machines that are not connected to the water supply.

Cleaning tips:

Calcium deposits appear as very hard scale formations that accumulate on the walls and heating elements of coffee machines and kettles. The main consequences are an increased energy demand and a prolonged boiling time of water, resulting in under-extracted products in the cup. On the walls of electric kettles and espresso machine tanks, limescale is a fertile ground for the development of bacteria. In the espresso machine, limescale accumulates inside the valves, filters and water passages, reducing efficiency until they are completely blocked or obstructed.

Instructions for use:

Periodic cleaning, depending on the hardness of the water – maximum every 30 days.

Espresso Machines

• Pour 125 ml of Puly Descaler Espresso® into the machine's tank with 400 ml of cold water.
• Turn on/off every 30 seconds, until used up.
• Rinse the water tank.
• Pour at least 3 liters of water into the tank and turn on/off every 30 seconds, until used up.

Electric kettles

• Pour 125 ml of Puly Descaler Espresso® into the kettle with 400 ml of cold water.
• Wait 15 minutes without heating.
• Empty the kettle.
• Rinse with drinking water.
